Do I get a "preferred" lie in the rough on the second hole?

A.

No. There is no longer a white line on the right side of the second hole. Preferred lies may only be used in the fairway.

Where do I drop if I hit the tee ball in the pond on the third or seventh hole?

A.

If you hit a ball into the pond on the third hole or seventh hole, you should tenatively use the drop circle.
